The earphones arrived packed in a nice box with a hinged lid. The 'phones themselves protected by a foam insert along with a metal 'KZ' plate. Very nice packaging.
The supplied cable is a silver plated version of the stock KZ cable, and none the worse for it. It was impossible to tell which connector went where. If they're marked, I couldn't see it. I used a frequency generator on my 'phone to generate a signal to one ear and took it from there.
The stock silicon tips do not do the units any favours. I use memory foam tips and they improve the sound immeasurably.
Construction wise, they're beautifully made and finished. The nozzle has a lip to retain the tips too.
Sound quality is excellent. Full frequency, balanced and spacious with superb soundstaging. No dominant frequencies. A joy to use.
