By creating an account with Update Avenue, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

2. Your Right to Delete Your Account
You may request the permanent deletion of your Update Avenue account at any time.
You can submit your request by:
- Using the Delete Account option available in your account settings within the Update Avenue mobile application or website, where available.
- Contacting our support team at support@updateavenues.com.
3. Verification
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized account deletion, we may require you to verify your identity before processing your request.
Verification may include:
- Logging into your account
- Confirming your registered email address
- Confirming your registered phone number
- Providing additional information where necessary
4. What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted
When your deletion request is completed:
- Your account profile will be permanently removed.
- Your login credentials will no longer work.
- Your saved addresses will be deleted.
- Your saved preferences will be removed.
- Your wishlist will be permanently deleted.
- Your shopping cart contents will be removed.
- Your saved payment preferences, if any, will be deleted.
- You will lose access to your account and related services.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot normally be reversed.
5. Information We May Retain
Even after your account is deleted, we may retain certain information where required or permitted by law, including:

- Transaction records
- Payment records
- Tax records
- Fraud prevention records
- Security logs
- Customer support communications
- Information required to comply with legal obligations

6. Outstanding Orders
If you have active orders at the time you request account deletion:

7. Refunds and Returns
Deleting your account does not affect your rights under our Refund & Return Policy.

8. Subscriptions and Marketing Communications
After your account is deleted:
- Marketing emails will be discontinued where applicable.
- Promotional notifications will stop.
- App notifications associated with your account will cease.

If you signed in using a third-party service, such as Google or Apple, deleting your Update Avenue account does not automatically delete your account with those third-party providers.
You must manage those accounts directly with the relevant provider.
10. Reopening an Account
Once your account has been permanently deleted, it generally cannot be restored.
If you wish to use Update Avenue again, you will need to create a new account.
Previous account information may not be recoverable.

We reserve the right to delay or refuse an account deletion request where necessary to:
